The most exciting thing about Graphic Design as a profession is all the different software programs and platforms that exist to help us create amazing works of art as well as provide our clients with the highest quality of work. In this blog post we will be reviewing Canva a graphic design platform which is free to use all that is require is for the user to set up a log in account using their email address of social media account.

We will go over the pros and cons of using Canva.

my personal experience using Canva

The rating I would give Canva on 1-10 scale with 1 being low rating and 10 being a high rating.

Canva is a versatile and user-friendly design tool that is perfect for both professionals and beginners. Its vast collection of templates and easy-to-use interface make creating stunning graphics and visuals a breeze. Additionally, its collaboration features allow for seamless teamwork on projects. Whether you are designing social media posts, marketing materials, or presentations, Canva has everything you need to bring your ideas to life. Overall, Canva is a must-have tool for anyone looking to elevate their design game.

One of the key pros of using Canva is its vast library of templates, design elements, and fonts that make it easy for individuals with no design experience to create professional-looking graphics. Additionally, Canva's drag-and-drop interface and intuitive tools allow for quick and easy customization of designs. The platform also offers collaboration features, making it convenient for teams to work together on projects. Overall, Canva is a valuable tool for anyone looking to create high-quality visuals for their personal or professional needs.

While Canva offers a user-friendly platform with a wide range of design options, there are some drawbacks to consider. One major con is that the free version has limited features and requires a subscription for access to premium elements. Additionally, the customization options may be limited compared to other design software, and the platform can sometimes be slow when working on complex projects. Another potential downside is that the templates and designs within Canva are widely used, so there is a risk of creating designs that look generic or lack originality.

My personal experience using Canva is that Canva is an affordable easy to use Graphic Design software platform, which is great since I can apply for a free account and work on my Graphic Gesign projects without having to spend any money on a subscription like most popular Graphic Design platforms such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw etc.. Moreover, Canva has a lot of amazing template for different project such as flyer, posters, logos even websites and the best thing is each template is designed to the specific demotions so all you have to do and work on your project without worrying about what size a poster, flyer or social media post should be. However if you have a specific project size in mind for your project Canva does give you the option of customizing the width and height of your project. Canva even has tutorials to teach you how to use the different tools to create the most awesome project to add to your portfolio or show off your design skills.

All in all The rating I would give Canva on 1-10 scale with 1 being low rating and 10 being a high rating, would be a 8 out of 10 for versatility and affordability if you have a tight budget when it comes to choosing an affordable Graphic Design software.
